Cons
Never experienced such a toxic workplace environment. This company operates with extreme micromanagement. Employees are monitored constantly — even things like how many times you stand up from your desk or go to the bathroom are observed. Staff are discouraged from speaking to each other or helping colleagues during work. If you ask a teammate a quick question, management immediately contacts you on Teams telling you not to speak with anyone. The leadership lacks professionalism, experience, and people-management skills. Many team leaders and managers appear to have been hired through personal connections rather than competence. The mentality is extremely outdated and creates a toxic circle that explains the massive turnover, especially in the Customer Service department. Management does not seem to care why employees leave or how to retain good people. Once you resign, managers often ignore your messages completely on Microsoft Teams. The company is basically a call center dealing mostly with complaints from angry and dissatisfied customers due to poor service quality. There are reportedly around 100 client closure requests daily, which raises serious concerns about the company’s stability and future. During interviews, they claim the company is “growing,” but in reality, they are constantly hiring because employees keep quitting. Most people are new hires who leave after only 3–4 months. Even the Sales department struggles with retention, with people resigning after just a few weeks. The environment is overly controlling. Employees are dictated exactly how to write emails and communicate because management believes nobody’s working style is acceptable unless it matches theirs. There also appears to be unfair salary distribution. Local employees and relatives/friends within the company allegedly receive better salaries and bonuses, while foreign native speakers are paid significantly less for the same work. There are endless rules that make no sense and create unnecessary stress. The company ignores employee feedback and shows no interest in improving the workplace culture. The mentality is simply: “If you don’t like it, leave — we’ll replace you.” If you check LinkedIn profiles of former employees, you’ll notice many people stayed only a few months before leaving. The few employees who remain long-term often seem afraid to speak up or feel stuck due to personal circumstances. For the sake of your mental health and professional growth, I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. The same issues reportedly exist at the Varna site as well.
