Pros

A decent product that has much to offer offset by horrendous sales managers and sales policies and constantly changing commission structure.

Cons

1. People are brought on as contract employees with horrible benefits. Some get promoted to regular employee, but there is NO set standard and the requirements change as management sees fit with no communication or accountability. 2. There is NO transparency. Sales managers are unaccountable and refuse to allow workers access to anyone in upper management. No phone numbers are provided, and if an email is sent, that is regarded as a fireable offense. 3. Commissions change from month to month, sometimes even mid month and they are NEVER done so to benefit the reps. 4. Training is minimal. 5. Sales manager takes care of pet reps and allows everyone else to die on the vine. And if anyone objects, see #2. 6. Sales managers talk to employees in condescending manner. Completely unmotivating. 7. Dishonest marketing tools that are designed to mislead the customers.

Pros

Ooma actually walks the talk on culture; leadership communicates openly and the collaborative vibe is real, always working on cool new things. Work-life balance has flexibility built in when life happens, which truly matters.

Cons

Remote = flexibility. Also remote = occasional existential loneliness. Trade-offs.
