The discount is really good The shifts are quite short, normally less than 5 hours so very convenient for students or people with lots of other things to do Team staff are nice and fun, and really supportive as well Pay is well above minimum wage for under 18s Flexible with shifts as long as you can arrange to swap with someone else Being a kids shop, the customers tend to be nicer and the kids keep the job entertaining Lots of different things to do, you can be serving, in the stockroom, blowing up balloons, cleaning all in one shift
Cons
Sometimes management can be pushy and quite rude. However they can also be really nice and supportive so it really depends what they’re feeling like that day Some of the shifts are quite inconvenient hours like 6-9pm Heavily target based, some people like this and some don’t
