Pros

Average pay and benefits. If the company does well, the bonus can be very good.

Cons

Sexist management - if you're a female, be prepared not to advance. If, by some chance you do get a promotion, it will either be because of your physical attributes or because you are completely non-threatening. Cliques - Management allows some pretty brutal cliques to remain. This entails not sharing information or training with newcomers trying to learn their jobs, temper tantrums, cronyism, and LOTS of backbiting. Management actually encourages the backbiting. When the operations isn't doing well, expect to be asked to take days off without pay, not to receive any pay increases, and salaried lay offs. Foreign Management - With the Forging Group, this means Brazilian Management, whose solution is to promote their fellow countrymen without requiring them to work, lay off qualified employees, and replace them with more Brazilians. Very, very questionable financial forecasting and income recognition practices - specifically, financial results are fabricated to favor Forging Group Headquarters.
