Directors genuinely give a damn, life happens, families get sick etc, never once has it been an issue, these are the sort of things people care about and rightfully so.
Company "away" days are actually useful and enjoyable, catering to the various preferences and locations of the team.
Provides all the equipment and support needed to the job, Management and Directors done argue with SME's and accept their knowledge.
Company does not try to hold you back in career progression, supports development both inside and outside the company.
Cons
Not company specific but smaller companies always mean development can be more challenging but they do support it with a good process for moving from Junior through to Principal.
