Could be a great place to work, but....
Pros
I had high hopes when I started here. I had heard stories about how the company was owned by "Good Christian People". Maybe when it was a small shop that was true, it changed over the years I worked there. If you are considering working there, make sure you negotiate your pay and vacation beforehand. If you play hardball, they will give you 3 weeks of vacation on Day 1 and will pay you properly, if you don't, you will end up with NO vacation for the first year and can expect nothing but a yearly "review" and sad compensation. Immediate coworkers on the shop floor were nice, and the work was consistent with any that you would find in a machine shop.
Cons
Out of touch, elitist owners who spout on and on about how "Christian" they are, however their actions signal otherwise. They will tell you all about flying their new airplane, but you better not ask for a raise unless you are prepared for a 20 minute tirade about how you being employed with their company is tantamount to charity. No upward mobility, no advancement opportunities....unless you are related to someone OR attend the correct church services....then the sky is the limit! I have never worked somewhere that placed such an emphasis on brown nosing and relatives. That's great if you are in the "click", but not so great if you are just a hard worker who isn't related to someone. They will hire someone with no experience off of the street (due to the click mentality), before elevating a loyal current employee. The Company Handbook is as good as the toilet paper in the bathroom as far as they are concerned when it comes to actually "Saying what you do, and doing what you say".
