Pros
you get to be part of a clique; you get to play corporate politics.. you get endure pointless meetings where leadership loves to hear themselves talk. you also get the fantastic opportunity to be talked down to even if you're considered an expert in your field.
Cons
in any department, there is literally zero room for advancement. they talk a big game, but fail on execution. They tried to IPO but not only wasn't the market right for entry, the effort to comply and get organized was a spectacular S***show.
