Pros

- Happy hours and repeated 'activities' to distract you from the fact that you are on a rapidly sinking ship - Some very nice people present, but it is a toxic environment if you actually want to grow in your career.

Cons

- You will NOT be receiving your bonus - They will absolutely lie about career opportunities within the company - Don't expect severance upon termination - Extremely high rate of turnover, both voluntary and involuntary - They are absolutely stacked with C-level and VP title folks with VERY few people to do actual work - Management refuses to hold themselves accountable for the NUMEROUS failures at this company

Pros

There is a feeling that you are creating something. You are led to believe that you can make a difference

Cons

Sr. Leadership is self centered and can't take responsibility for the company. Issues are always "someone else's fault". If you try to address an issue, you are blamed for the issue. There is a reason that this company has had a 100% turnover of it's mid-management, has been stagnant in growth of the core business, and yet the entire Executive Team is still in tact.

Pros

Will say anything to get employees in the door, dishonest commission structure that constantly changes in order to deceive employees on possible earning potential.

Cons

Dishonest recruiting practices, expense reimbursement delays for months at a time, confusing and deceiving commission structure, you will be told your income with double in the first year when in actuality it will not change even if you meet every sales goal they can make up because their goal is to use your book of business and make empty promises until you realize there isn’t anyway to make money working for them and finally leave. The high turnover is because it’s impossible to sustain a living while making well below the basic cost of living income in Houston.
