Pros
There’s significant opportunity in the U.S. market, where the biggest budgets are. The UK engineering team is well-organized, capable, and productive—helped by a strong work–life balance that the company (formerly Garrison) has genuinely preserved. The London office is excellent: central, easy to reach, and a great place to collaborate. People are friendly, professional, and in many cases exceptionally talented.
Cons
Salaries trail the market. Decision-making is slowed by layers of hierarchy and bureaucracy. Communication isn’t especially open, and leadership gaps have emerged since several former Garrison leaders left. The U.S.-driven culture can feel overbearing for the UK team, and this friction is often downplayed by U.S. management.
