Pros

The individual contributors are undoubtedly talented and dedicated. The benefits package is industry average, and include subscriptions for mental wellness apps.

Cons

As a former employee, I feel compelled to share my experience with the public. While my time at the company was filled with meaningful interactions with my fellow individual contributors, the overarching atmosphere cultivated by the executive team was regrettably toxic. The leadership often displayed traits of narcissism and an inability to handle dissenting opinions, creating an environment where any form of disagreement was met with animosity and a target on one's back. Several of my former colleagues, also affected by the layoffs, expressed this same sentiment. Furthermore, the organization's frequent rounds of layoffs created an atmosphere of instability and fear among the employees. The purported value placed on employee well-being and mental health seemed insincere, especially when remote employees were mandated to return to the office under the guise of "collaboration." This move appeared to be a thinly veiled tactic for further layoffs, rather than a genuine effort to foster teamwork and innovation. It can’t be a coincidence that the return to office mandate went into effect within a day of one of the major layoffs. While the individual contributors are undoubtedly talented and dedicated, the relentless workload and the constant fear of disrupting the status quo led to soul-crushing anxiety for many of us. It's disheartening that such a promising company is marred by a culture that stifles creativity and disregards the well-being of its employees. It is my hope that by sharing this review, potential employees and stakeholders will be aware of the toxic work environment and can make informed decisions about their involvement with the organization.

Pros

No pros, after the third layoff in three years you’re better off working at McDonalds. The CEO also lied to everyone’s face after the last round saying they left for other “other opportunities”. Is that what we call it when you pay severance and tell them they’re laid off? Oh okay! This company is quite literally demonic. They are moving to contractors only so they don’t have to pay benefits.

Cons

Micromanagement, No growth opportunities ,Awful compensation. Somehow EverlyWell bought a failing company and had the bright idea to promote all of those leaders who run off of outdated models of micromanaging and intimidation. They are questioning how this company is now failing when they backed the failures. This is the most toxic place I have ever worked. Do yourself a favor and look for a job literally anywhere else. Also- if you’re a minority they will treat you horribly only to parade you around as the token person for DEI presentations
