      Pros

      Friendly co-workers and city centre location.

      Cons

      Exegy is a sink or swim environment, especially for new hires. They provide little to no training within complex roles and have little transparency. They hire you for one role and then throw you into a different one. The management structure is very poor and could do with some fresh faces to try and bring some stability into the office and a clear path on where the company is actually heading. Communication from management and HR could also do with improvement.

      The following is applies to Belfast: Low pay, low morale, high turnover of staff (impacts support given to customers), ancient technologies, little room for advancement, little communication from management, years of sub-par or non-existant pay rises for staff, failure to recognise and reward staff. This review is based on experience BEFORE the past few months, and I have heard horror stories of the situation since

      Belfast team are great workers and very friendly. 100% WFH was great.

      Exegy bought out Vela. Ever since then pay rises became an issue. Exegy management make promises they do not keep, such as a pay rise by the end of July 2022. Exegy stated that redundancies were not going to happen and they did at least 4 people I know of. Pay rises for staff ranged from 0 to 8% despite the energy costs soaring. Yes zero percent! HR (when there was one) scarcely responded to any form of contact. Even now employees who left have not had a P45 when they left over a month ago.
