Cons

They don't value their staff. Progression is very limited unless you are part of the clique. The branch has created an awful clique environment and only the clique prosper and entitled to an opinion. Doesnt matter how hard you work as it always get over looked. The cultures expeditors instills to all employees certainly go a miss within this branch unless you included 'Blame culture's into their values.

Great company to work for if starting out in the freight forwarding world as they provide you with the best training in the industry.

Cons

Pay is low. If your role is extremely busy and cannot fit in all your 52 training hours in a year this counts as a black mark against you. If working at a small branch, career progression is limited. My experience at EI was a happy one for 7 years but towards the end, I was pushed out by my line manager who was picking me up on the smallest of problems resulting in unnecessary and unwanted disciplinaries. There were grounds for gross misconduct but did not have the courage to go through with it.
