Pros

Agency has offices just about any place you'd want to work in/near. Managers push employees to develop skills to aid in their advancement. Work environment mostly positive and work life balance easy.

Cons

A lot of uncertainty. The retention/turnover rate is currently high. Telework and Remote work not as generous as before.

Pros

Great mission, top-notch peers and SMEs, opportunities to learn, grow, and advance with a high quality of life.

Cons

Too much corporate influence in Congress and perpetual underfunding and political red tape keep the agency on its heels and unable to keep up with the pace of technology.
