Pros

The benefits in terms of dental and healthcare are decent. Much better than paying out of pocket of course. Management doesn't turn down time-off requests and even lets you take no-pay time off if you need to. Just be smart about it.

Cons

Supply chain engineer is a fabricated title that is really an associate purchaser. I'm assuming this title will be changed to whatever you put down are your interests. Beware when applying. You are the person who quotes, buys material and parts, and talks to subcontractors. The position title advertised to you does not mean you will be doing what is on your resume/ what you went to school for. You will be a buyer and quoter at the end of the day. This company is unfortunately on the decline. 7 employees have now left, including myself, in the past 3 months. This is obviously a sign of poor management and changing times. People are still being denied raises amid the absorption of these salaries no longer being paid. The reward system to do better and improve is nonexistent here. You will be worked to your max until you're mentally done, or make a mistake and have an hour long meeting attached to it, thinking this will solve the issue. Not knowing things outside of this scope results in one quick lesson and then being expected to remember and compound with all the other things you are hardly taught. If you need help from your assigned manager, good luck. They will most likely be in meetings every day and not open to help in the moment. These meetings happen every day behind closed doors on top of their scheduled two meetings every day. If you aren't afraid to ask questions, great, your chance to ask your questions are not great at place like this where your job changes every day. In terms of values, this place is not great. Employees are not praised or encouraged for doing a good job or maintaining their current performance. Executives laugh at employees who tried to help the company out after leaving. They also swear and do not maintain professionalism in front of employees. Multiple employees have been verbally yelled at and undermined in public areas. You can not treat a person like this regardless of their performance or mistake in the moment. You are not set up for success here. Any skills or trade secrets you know here will not be valued. Go work for a younger-staffed company that understands the changing times.

If you like to be micromanaged and talked down to work here!

Pros

The health benefits even though I paid $103 per week!

Cons

Working there was a very stressful and intimidating place to work! There is a lot of micromanagement going on! I wondered why people had held their heads down and barely said good morning to you. Nobody talked it's like the quietest manufacturing building ever! I learned why though because everything is on camera being recorded! They watch and listen to everything that goes on there! Nobody trains you either. You were expected to learn on your own pretty much. Except for an outdated training manual. They always said they were available if you need any help. But that hardly ever happened. If you make a mistake? Instead of helping you they call you down to the principal's office and have a meeting. Where they wag their finger at you and tell you what you're doing wrong instead of helping you fix it! I've witnessed on many occasions the management sit in a meeting and throw stares at each other, roll their eyes and snicker! Right in front of the employee like they're not in the room! One sighs and taps his toes when you have a question or need help!? That guy needs some people skills and patience! I would even say anger management is needed! It's not a very nice place to work! Help your employees don't point the finger at them and make them feel less than! The owner of Fala Technologies needs to open his eyes and realize what his management crew are doing to the employees! With little time I was there (2months) five people gone! They were even nice enough to fire two people right before the holidays! Another person that they hired they pulled him around that place basically left with tears in his eyes! He couldn't handle it! With what I saw I don't blame him! That place is like a revolving door! Don't do it to yourself! This place is awful!!

Pros

Great insurance-its about the best you can get outside of working for the government. Lots of machining & assembly experience & knowledge.

Cons

Management appears to operate at the top of the Dunning-Kruger curve—confident yet inexperienced—exacerbating these issues. The company seems too reliant on grants to sustain operations, reducing motivation to improve efficiency or management practices. While they invest in technology, much of it is underused or poorly maintained due to limited understanding. Digital systems are minimal, with no file sharing or team communication tools, forcing employees to rely on inconsistent handwritten records. Quality issues are managed without considering human factors, and responsibilities are poorly defined. Overall, poor structure, micromanagement, weak communication, and a lack of professional management practices undermine performance. I once asked an intern to organize a file drawer container records into folders with job numbers. I was told this was a waste of time& money and it was preferred that the records be filed without folders. When the interns left we had to search through the records one by one to find the job we needed. I only observed machinists receiving skill training. Everyone else was given minimal OJT. Would not recommend any real professional consider working here. You're knowledge and experience will not be given consideration or respect.
