Pros

You might meet some cool people although at this particular point in time - almost all of them already left this place :) As long as you keep your mouth shut or open it only to tell how great the management or company is, you're ok

Cons

- Only vision is to make money - Strategy follows the vision :) - Very tense work environment - "Colleagues" that don't like you, will try to get rid of you (they are quite good at it) - Sales-driven company - "if you don't like it found your own company" type of culture - Current "stars" won't go the extra mile

Pros

i will do my best to leave an honest review -Cool feautures for online banking -Fintech experience - the very low level of staff are cool ( some of them Enjoy backstabbing though)

Cons

-No unique well supported vision, strategy - Management is very bad, nor organized, try to blame employees for their failures, some of them give the allure that they are scared on their positions to be stolen by more competent colleagues - Too much politics -HR does not really have a vital role, even though they know a lot of the bad stuff happening around -Their customers actually leaves them because they do not know how to treat customers or maintain good relationships with them -Relationship Manager/ employee is in most cases very bad, employees always scared to speak their opinions and when they do, they receive negative feedback from management - some discriminations of course are present towards some employees -They tend to fire a lot of good caliber and they do it very unprofessionally, one day a colleague is there, the next day he is not in the office because a powerful manager kicked him out just like that !

Pros

Hmmm...I‘m really clutching at straws here to find a PRO. You could say the technology is good. But even that area is a mess...Fidor‘s been running for YEARS and they still have no proper product descriptions as of Feb 2018. The lower level staff are all pretty cool. International environment. Blah blah blah...

Cons

Wow, where do I start?! This place is run so badly that even the clients are walking out the door...willing to throw away MILLIONS of euros spent to date out of frustration vis a vis the mess and sheer incompetence. Over promising and under delivering is the name of the game in this company. NO project is a success. Management are at best extremely emotional, volatile and temperamental to say the least. They don’t even pretend to be professional, and when something goes wrong, you better run for the hills! There are zero processes and standards. The paperwork looks and reads shoddy, like it was written at 2am after one to many JD& cokes. Every department is run haphazardly and decisions made arbitrarily. HR does nothing to look after Fidor staff and make them feel valued. Fact! People coming from big places like Harvard or top banks don’t last...hmmm...I wonder why! Some of the heads of departments are good guys; ops, product engineering. The others are two faced, suffering from a total lack of professional integrity, of average ability and have zero leadership skills. Meaning your talent will NOT be fostered, you will NOT be mentored, and don’t expect ANY training. Even when you arrive, unless you ask, no one will train you on the products. The number of times I’ve seen people really trying, failing once, then being thrown out in the cold is too often to count. The lower level staff are cool but treated mostly like disposables. Don’t bother being good, it won’t help you here...on the contrary! Honestly, if you feel you’ve had a good career so far or are good at what you do, don’t apply to this place. You will at best be tainted, and at worst lose your ability to perform at the level required by larger more established organisations. None of the above is an exaggeration. Just ask ANYONE who works there. Except of course if it’s management or an affiliate of HR! Bad bad bad.
