Pros

Some genuinely nice and hard working people here

Cons

Sole ownership with information funneled by few high-ups. Petty, manipulating and narcissistic leadership, non-existent management skills and insufficient industry knowledge. Judging people by stereotypes and two-faced. The office is like a sorority society with rampant favoritism. Expect borderline inappropriate relationship shown as cringe-worthy exchange, disdain on professionalism and encouraging foul language to show you are "cool", proud in "friendly office culture" but really it is spending hours gossiping then working crazy overtime . There are talented and genuinely nice people here, although to be recognized is a political matter: sycophancy, credit-claiming, performative (or real) working beyond midnight and on weekends, jumping to critic other's work rather than solving the problem, are all key skills with much higher return than actually doing good work. They expect you to work hard and long hours; yet the leadership is losing sleep over imaginary losses. So if you don't work long hours, you're bad employee; if you work too much, you lose $$ for the office. No winning scenario here, unless you're a favorite then all your failure is caused by others. Jumping on politically-correct bandwagon and virtue-signaling is knee-jerk reaction, with little self-reflection. To be on the right side needs to mean more than paying lip services to fish for marketable profile and lucrative commissions.
