      Pros

      Mostly friendly atmosphere (at the store I was at), great discount, the manager for my department was willing to work with me when I had issues.

      Cons

      Many scheduling issues, upper management is poor, what could be considered unethical business strategies/company policies, drama between employees, claimed to have great growth potential and there was not much, more work was expected than was in the job description upon hire.

      Pros

      Management team is really nice and I get along with my co-workers very well. You get a pretty good employee discount (ranging from 10%-25% depending on what it is) and there are also "employee only" sales that can take up to 50% or more off specific items at specific times. The environment is generally relaxed; they enforce 10 min breaks and lunch breaks so you are not bone tired at the end of your shift. Corporate is also really kind, have met several members and they are very nice people. Pretty good pay!

      Cons

      Hours are very poor. Part-time will struggle to get even 20 hours a week, it is usually less than that. They would rather hire more employees and dole out hours than hire less people who would be more reliable and reward them with hours. Very hard to get recognition--you can go out of your way to build displays or such and won't even get a "thank you" most of the time, even if that wasn't your job and you were trying to make management happy. Your discount doesn't apply to stuff that is already on sale. They will work you very hard for little reward and you do not receive real benefits as a part-time employee.

      Pros

      They hire a lot of great people so it can be fun. The store is nice and not hectic. You get a good discount on some great products.

      Cons

      Long hours and low pay. They advertise competitive wages but barely pay a living wage. The management is not trained. There are too many leaders that do not work together.
