Pros

Easy work? That’s about it.

Cons

Most backwards company I have ever worked for. Favoritism like I have never seen before. As long as you do exactly as the higher ups want you to do, you’ll be fine. The CEO is just a face of the company, because he actually has the credentials to run a company. It is really run by two, mainly one woman, that have been there for literally decades. As long as you can be a puppet for the person above you; you’ll be fine, but still won’t actually go far.

Pros

Easy, flexible time off. Department managers are generally great hard working individuals who care about staff, nice hours- free evenings, holidays and weekends off.

Cons

There is room for advancement, as in more work for not much, if any, of a raise. The only people who do well are executives on the top floor and there's only a few of them. CEO walks by daily and won't say hello unless you do first. Many branch managers are constantly stressed and overwhelmed by demands of executives above them.

Pros

Work life balance is good. Tuition reimbursement can be used for pretty much anything, but it is not a lot of money.

Cons

Favoritism is rampant here. Most of the executive team are just figureheads pulling in a hefty salary but they don't actually make any decisions. The organization is run by one person and everyone in her down line. This group receives exorbitant pay, additional perks and they are overstaffed. The rest of the credit union is forced to continually do more with less for minimal pay. They do not appreciate employees. When they do giveaways, it is usually things they got for free, left over marketing giveaways or tickets that no one in upper management wants.
