Pros

In a few days Ill reach my first 3 months with the company and there isn't anything I can complain about. When starting with a new company, you can usually get a sense of the company culture the first few weeks. There's other larger companies I've worked for where I sensed the toxicity and favoritism from the get-go, but that's definitely not something I sense from First Help Financial. Even thou my position is remote, I don't feel like I'm alone and someone is always willing to help. There is a good team environment and FHF really gives you all the tools you need to be successful at your job. From the equipment to any support you need to be successful in your role. When it comes to work life balance, this company truly understands most of us are working mothers/fathers and caregivers. I am never given any hassle for needing to take a day off or a couple hours. As long as you get your work done and are responsible with your time, this is not a company that is going to micro-manage you. I truly enjoy being with this company and don't regret joining First Help one bit. Great work environment even though its remote. If you need help with something, someone is always happy to help. Work life balance is the most important pro; you really do get that here. There a remote company lunch that they offer all employees monthly.

Cons

The lunch is half an hour but because I am able to get out at 5:30 instead of 6.

Thank you for this feedback. Being a remote employee but feeling an engaged part of our team is so important to us. We are glad to know that your training and onboarding was successful and that you have the right tools to succeed in your role. You are correct, we strive to make FHF a long term home where you can balance your hard work with a relaxing life.

Pros

Working from home, day and night shift available

Cons

Terrible management. These managers all have favorites and it shows. They never communicate issues and expect you to know exactly what's going on- even though they didn't tell you. All of the good reviews are bought and paid for because they offer a point system that you can cash out and get actual money, one of the big cash grab is to leave a good review. I wouldn't recommend this company to my dearest of friends because all they bring is stress and unprofessionalism. The higher ups need to do an in-depth thorough investigation on the managers they promote. There was a time my daughter was sick and needed to take a week off, since that time they treated me like the lowest level of trash and I was officially in their "non-favorites". And they always promote the favorites even if you are performing better. My advice is to stay away from this, unless they change their management.

Pros

Very affordable benefits (Health, Dental, Vision) - Company pays for a majority of the costs. Generous 401K match program Great opportunities for top performers Culturally diverse and friendly office staff Dynamic environment - There is no dull work day, always something to do, always something different happening. Free lunch on Fridays - delicious grub from the best local restaurants. Fully stocked kitchen/break room - Beer/Wine on Fridays after your shift. Fun company events -Holiday party, Summer party, Karaoke, Foosball, Trivia, Video Game competitions etc. Work hard, play hard atmosphere.

Cons

Like any other workplace communication between departments should be improved. Also it's a sales driven environment so there will be clashes with sales reps; as long as you do your job and never take it personal it should not be a problem.

Thank you for submitting a review and highlighting the benefits we work hard to offer. Although it is not always an easy budgetary decision, we're proud that we are able to dedicate resources to subsidize benefits and make them accessible for all. Your point on communication is also heard - we are adding new mechanisms to make communication from the top more consistent and across departments more frequent.
