Pros

The people on the teams I worked with were always kind and supportive. And I think that's a common pattern across the company, with relationships built on trust. Definitely a great place to work. Every time I faced major personal challenges, my team leader and superiors made genuine efforts to provide assistance in the best possible way. With rapid growth, the company has an excellent environment for engineers to enhance their technical skills and actively contribute to the evolution of systems and business.

Cons

I don't have any significant downsides to report.

I was with FIrstleaf for just over a year - the reviews are true, the people here absolutely fantastic to work with. The leaders really practice what they preach and live by the core values of the company, curiousity, transparency and honesty. Being remote it is sometimes hard to build relationships, which is definitely not the case there. I absolutely loved my job, the wines are great, the culture is terrific and I was really sad to be let go as part of the recent restructure. Despite the bad news, the leaders all handled the decision as best they could, super nice and I hope to join the team again next year. Benefits are great (work remote, 401k match, super training, wine discount and regular wine tastings, flexible with time off). Wish everyone the best of luck! I'll be cheering for everyone on the sidelines.

Cons

Recent restructure meant my job was eliminated. These things happen though so no hard feelings. Really helpful to have the outsource company help me find something new.
