Previous VP ruined everything

Pros

The people are great! We all enjoy each others company and helping our buildings.

Cons

Previous VP was terrible to the employees. Belittling, lying and basic mental abuse. We all have spoke about this to senior management and they did nothing. Left us to be broken down. Now that he is gone, everything is a mess. We are not getting bonuses and there is no communication about it. Not stable enough to stay. No housing discount.

Pros

Top pay in the industry. Hybrid work

Cons

The company is experiencing significant instability, operating as a third-party managed organization with multiple properties facing various challenges. Recently, a division spun off from its parent company and is currently in the process of divesting, adding to the overall volatility within the organization. The software in use is quite outdated; they are stuck with a yardi platform from the early 2000s, which was adopted as a cost-saving measure but has since proven to be cumbersome and time-consuming to navigate. Additionally, the organization lacks comprehensive standard operating procedures for property management, resulting in no established guidelines or protocols for on-site staff to follow. Most operational decisions rest with the E Vice President, who unfortunately lacks a background in operational management and does not command the respect of his subordinate staff. In the year since he took over, there have been four RPMs hired and replaced, reflecting the ongoing turmoil.
