Free coffee, relaxed atmosphere (too relaxed?)

Cons

A managing director who's vain, not so much micro-managing but nano-managing everything. Some "senior leaders" seem to have been appointed as part of an "Old Boys/Girls club". Members of staff have no idea what these people contribute. No products, nothing really to sell. The senior team sat by and watch the market slipping away from them, believing that new companies would never be a threat. Good people have left or are leaving still. Now the company is shadow of what it was.

Old technology and no direction

Pros

Nice people. They mean well but they have no clue how to run a business. Top management have no idea or direction. Their products and technology is outdated and there is no innovation.

Cons

France dictates what happens in the UK without taking into consideration how this impact the UK employees or how the company compares with others. Finance also dictate to management how little they should spend with their employees.

- Archaic systems - Senior Management with little / no technical knowledge - Senior Managment are dinosaur like in their thinking. - Senior Management are often pompous and there is a big Us/Them culture - MD not approachable, sits in ivory tower - Products are poor and often behind schedule -
