      Good for experience, bad for career

      Pros

      Lots of training and overtime. Hires anyone fresh out of university. Good people to work with in the lab.

      Cons

      Raises? Good luck with that. Toxic company and culture, uses the classic 'family business' line to deny workers dignity, promotions, benefits, or any form of treatment beyond being a profit generator. Pizza parties whenever it becomes so overwhelmingly obvious that the lab staff are burnt out from their miserable treatment. If you show eagerness or ability you will just get more and more tasks excepted of you but again with no form of compensation.

      Not Bad, Not Great

      Pros

      Entry-level lab positions for new grads. Nice lab with a comical amount of instruments to handle the workload.

      Cons

      High turnover. Feels like everyone is just working there until they find something better. Company doesn't seem to know how to hold onto their best employees and yet are also willing to fire those that have worked there for a decade. Employees seem to be pushed to work beyond their scope of practice (for little pay) in order to meet turnaround times.

      As the business executive says, the have free coffee

      Cons

      Management plays favorites and if you are not one of the favorites you will be bullied. The last review from the business development executive in the advice area, where they say "continue to push out the whiners and complainers" pretty much sums up fluid life. Companies and management doesn't change when the HR and President are family
