Pros

They take care of their own.

Cons

They do not value black or Hispanic people and pay them considerably less than whites or Asians. Diversity and inclusion consists of white people being in charge and telling people of color what is best for them. No blacks or Hispanics and few Asians are executives or senior management with no possibility for change to occur. Poor leadership and no synergy exists between departments. Management only cares about moving up and earning more. Senior management gives their friends kids high paying jobs straight out of college and promote them over educated people with years of experience.

Pros

The 401k plan is great. They also offer tuition reimbursement. The company is thoughtful about company closure for employees during bad weather.

Cons

Promotions are based on family and friend connections and not on actual work exp. or effort. The need for more help with continuing heavy workloads is solved with another wasted and new higher mgmt position. The position is filled with connections who does nothing to solve the problem. There are more officers than staff employees and more people trying to tell you what to do instead of helping with what needs to be done. HR is a joke. They are in the pocket and puppets of higher mgmt. They absolutely are not the ones to go to when you have a problem. They do not believe in employee confidentiality and are quick to side with mgmt without a thoro investigation on both sides. There is no integrity. I don't understand how the dept. of labor has not opened a case on them seeing as how their recruiting and promotion efforts are only based on family friend connections who have no real experience. Benefits is another joke. Mgmt is never around and customer service is lacking. Phone calls are not answered and the benefits team makes me cringe anytime I have a benefits question or problem. They are not competent. This seems to be a training problem from mgmt. The technology IT uses is 80s era and horrible. This company does not believe in technology infrastructure. The company does not understand that to have decent technology means more efficient and better work all around. Computer delays and freezing have only gotten worse over the years. There's also backstabbing galore probably because so many people got their positions through friends. I guess who wouldn't want to try to keep a good pay job with no clue or experience on what they are doing.
