Pros

The original brand ethos and the phenomenal customers.

Cons

They don't reward you unless you fit the mold. The mold is silence, compliance, proximity and helps so much if you're not black! The company is now an evil monster which does not value its people or support them in any tangible way. Corporate can be likened to corrupt politicians and soleless figureheads who don't have any idea about, nor desire to reignite, the joy of the businesses original core values.

Pros

The idea around online framing is a great one. And they do a good job - decent quality and really nice designs. Great customer service is a priority. The office is beautiful and the vibe can be fun but….

Cons

I disliked working at Framebridge. Mainly due to the management that was there at the time. Very inexperienced from the top down to the management team. Too confident about their own abilities yet hypercritical of others. It was a tough environment if you weren’t part of the several who could do no wrong and frequently blamed others for failures or mistakes. There are sacred cows in terms of people, ideas and what you’re allowed to say (unless you want to be openly criticized). However they have built a growing company that they should be proud of. There are a couple new experienced and talented leaders at the top. So maybe they have made a positive difference. There are some promising employees who work there who could learn from them. There is a new partnership with a well known designer which is a good thing for the company. Have heard they aren't making much money on it but it is good marketing for the company.

Pros

The pay can be good, but only if you're in the CEO’s favor. Not solely based on merit.

Cons

The work environment here is chaotic and disorganized, with leadership at the top showing a complete lack of competence. Despite the leader's attempts to tout her impressive credentials, it’s clear that she’s terrible with people and utterly ineffective in her role. The negative reviews you’ve read aren’t exaggerations—they reflect the reality that most employees, both new and seasoned, openly share. The problem is, speaking out will quickly get you ostracized or even fired, so people keep their heads down and pretend things are fine. It’s like being back in high school—full of cliques, gossip, and cruelty. From a business standpoint, the company is in constant decline. Goals and priorities shift unpredictably, often changing multiple times a month with no clear communication or direction. Teams are restructured on a whim, and when that inevitably leads to problems, other people get blamed. You never know when you might be the next target of the founder's unpredictable decisions. While some of this might be expected in a startup, this company has been around for over a decade—it should know better. If you’re coming from a background in consumer businesses, prepare to be disappointed. You’ll find yourself unable to accomplish anything meaningful and bogged down by constant office politics and toxic leadership.
