Pros

I've worked with fantastic people and some of the customers are wonderful. You get a lot of practice at building relationships.

Cons

There are no regular raises and are often less than cost of living increase. If you're on salary they will work you into the ground and not even compensate you with a thank you. Bonuses do not exist. Upper management will sabotage you, then blame you to senior management, but take credit for your success. Structure and policy is non-existent, as are ethics. There is no personal life allowed. FreshPoint is your life.

Pros

• Okay Insurance plan • Plenty of positions to move into • Good 401K with good company match • Inexpensive vision and dental • Company is growing and expanding • Starting wages highest in industry for most positions

Cons

• Individuals in the same department, with the same responsibilities and expectations, earn extremely different wages • Team meetings with no purpose other than to focus on negatives • New processes and procedures put in place with no follow up or oversight • "Cover yourself" mentality • Absolutely no professionalism amongst coworkers • Overwhelming workload • Horribly unqualified management • Terrible training and support • Morale is very low • Terrible work/life balance • Disorganized hierarchy • Everyone seems to have a Lead/Supervisor/Manager/Director/Vice President title attached to their name • Too much work shifts to those who can do it, while those who do nothing are promoted and taken care of • Politicking is far more important than job performance • "Fire from the hip" decision making by management • Old and outdated sales team.

Pros

For the hourly employees, the company is high paying for the market. The benefits are top notch for the food industry. Show up to work, do your job, and do not complain - you'll have a job forever. The management team is a good group to work beside. They are passionate about the company.

Cons

It's not necessarily a fault of the company - more so the local produce industry, but any job at Freshpoint is very demanding. It's seven days a week/24 hours a day for managers and sales. The ops staff team has little time to rest outside of work let alone spend time with family. Over servicing the customer rules everything making cost control a challenge and leads to high turnover due to burnout.
