Pros

The job environment CAN be fun.

Cons

The pay is laughable. New bonus plan includes spiffs that management does not qualify for, although we are expected to talk and sell to each customer. Managers expected to work long hours with no flexibility. Centers open 8am to 7pm now, you will be expected to be there open to close. Previously they were open until 6pm which makes a lot more sense since most centers don't get cars after 6pm. I spent the past year barely having time to make dinner for my family and only really seeing my toddler to drop them off at childcare and then put them to bed. There is no work life balance whatsoever. If you are a female I would steer clear. I was 100% discriminated against because of my gender. They also state there is a zero tolerance policy for retaliation, this is utterly and completely false. And after quitting I have had a few of my peers come forward and tell me my direct supervisor was telling them we were having relations. I have no doubt I spent the better part of the last two years being the butt of a joke I wasn't in on. I spent almost 4 years total with the company putting my heart and soul into my job with absolutely no reward. There is NO accountability past center managers. District, regional, and so forth can and will do whatever they please. I also know of several occurrences in which other female employees were sexually harassed to severity and they were literally told to shut up and do their job or they would be fired. This is not the way zero tolerance works. Zero tolerance is not in place to punish the victim. Do not take a job in QUICK LUBE that requires you to work 12+ hours a day. It is not worth it whatsoever.

Pros

Scheduling. They create schedules weeks in advance so you always know your off days.

Cons

Employees smoke, drink on the clock while operating and working on customers vehicles. Wash cars on the clock, store manager watches YouTube a majority of the day.

Pros

Colleagues within departments were great to work with. The teams all had a common goal.

Cons

Micromanaging to a whole other level. Flexibility has been completely stripped away. No room for growth unless you slave to the company. Hybrid schedules have been adjusted to encourage collaboration but everyone stays in their office because there’s tension. Incredibly hostile work environment. CEO is not personable. He’s present in office but doesn’t join departments for in person meetings. He joins from his laptop in his office so I’m not sure what’s the point of dragging your people to an office to do the same thing they do at home. All they care about is cutting costs. Employees constantly feel the need to over correct or apologize. There is no support from executive level. Just consistently pointing out “failures” but provide little to no support, guidance or solutions. Retail Ops are overworked and underpaid. Way too much responsibility being thrown at Center Manager levels and District Manager levels. Main point is the writing is on the wall. Previous leaders are gone and they left for a reason. Look at the red flags. Do not work here.
