Pros

The benefits are great, the company really gives you good perks like employee appreciation and activities.

Cons

The recruiting process is horrible, the recruiter is just fresh out of college and lacks experience. The company does not promote from within, they typically prefer to hire from the outside rather than take a chance on an existing employee. There are too many "VP's", it seems like everyone is a manager or VP but they have no leadership experience nor education to back up the title. The company is a little disorganized in terms of setting clear job responsibilities. There is a overwhelming sense that "the right hand does not know what the left is doing."

Pros

Employees are allowed a 59 minute lunch break. HR says lunch breaks are a courtesy not a requirement.

Cons

Lending Management's first priority is to protect themselves and shift the blame; They are quick to hog credit; It's really tough to get a decision from management because they're to busy playing their cards; Management dumps their most difficult work tasks on their team; Management cannot be trusted (they don't even trust one another!); Due to their lack of competence, Lending Management adds no value to the team or to the company; Management doesn't walk the talk. They have Strict rules for the people who really work but, they spend their time gossiping, taking 2 hour lunches, and criticizing senior management.

Pros

Small credit union, you get to know everyone

Cons

Upper management isn’t held accountable for their lack of helping employees grow. The credit union look a large loss a few years ago and have not whittled away are their top individuals who were responsible.
