Worst place I've ever worked (Head Office - London)
Pros
- There’s some lovely people who work at the hotels, but HQ is by far the worst office I have ever worked. - Free fruit and coffee - One free stay a year - Pizza and beers once a month (head office) - They offered a summer party and a Christmas party but were both postponed.
Cons
- Hours are 9am to 6pm, but if you leave at 7pm you are called a part timer, even though people who “work late” only stay to play fifa or mess about. - Senior management bring in incompetent people they trust just because they worked with them before and there is a clear marked difference. - No one is allowed to work from home because there is no trust or actual relationship between managers and employees. - There is a boy’s club culture which is very toxic, you hear misogynistic comments by C-level on a regular basis, I don’t know how women put up with it. - I don’t know anyone who enjoys working here. Everyone is looking for a job and trying to leave all the time. HIGH turnover. - Sooo many egos. CEO will not talk to 90% of the staff, especially if they are “too low” for him. - Generator is owned by an investment firm, so the only goal is to make money, people are just a number to them and everyone is replacable. - C-suite work for this investment firm and have to get every little thing approved by them, they are their minions. - Everyone is overworked, underpaid and undervalued – would not recommend to anyone.
