Pros

- There’s some lovely people who work at the hotels, but HQ is by far the worst office I have ever worked. - Free fruit and coffee - One free stay a year - Pizza and beers once a month (head office) - They offered a summer party and a Christmas party but were both postponed.

Cons

- Hours are 9am to 6pm, but if you leave at 7pm you are called a part timer, even though people who “work late” only stay to play fifa or mess about. - Senior management bring in incompetent people they trust just because they worked with them before and there is a clear marked difference. - No one is allowed to work from home because there is no trust or actual relationship between managers and employees. - There is a boy’s club culture which is very toxic, you hear misogynistic comments by C-level on a regular basis, I don’t know how women put up with it. - I don’t know anyone who enjoys working here. Everyone is looking for a job and trying to leave all the time. HIGH turnover. - Sooo many egos. CEO will not talk to 90% of the staff, especially if they are “too low” for him. - Generator is owned by an investment firm, so the only goal is to make money, people are just a number to them and everyone is replacable. - C-suite work for this investment firm and have to get every little thing approved by them, they are their minions. - Everyone is overworked, underpaid and undervalued – would not recommend to anyone.

The worst company II have worked for

Pros

The pay is good for the industry. They need to pay well to attract people to this god awful company.

Cons

Generator is an appalling place to work. Thankfully I managed to get out after only a few months of working in their head office. They treat customers with very little respect and try to rinse as much money as possible out of them. Certain senior members constantly overstate figures to make themselves look good. There's no communication in the company particularly in head office. Senior management particularly the CMO are vile human beings. They're so out of their depth and barely do any work, yet overwork their teams. This company will not last.

Pros

Some travelling and a few decent colleagues Good location

Cons

Where to begin? Initially when I applied for this job, I ignored the reviews as there were some good ones, however I wish I took the bad reviews on board as there is truth behind nearly every single one of them. I have been working here for nearly a year and it has been by far the worst experience and company I worked for. No back bone, just an empty shell and pretty from outside. Employees are being asked to leave positive reviews about the company. You might have to do longer hours if you work at HO. Most of the staff stay until late. A lot of changes in the management and staff that makes everything more complicated
