General transparency, which I haven't seen at many companies, except when things head south. Largely competent staff at most levels of the organization. Good benefits. Largely low-key stress levels internally, minus the multitude of layoffs over the past 18 months.
Cons
Management is clearly looking to sell this company in the near term, so really the biggest con is 'surprise' when the company does sell. I expect the either or both of the major offices to close as a result of this situation. Anyone who isn't looking for a new job by now is blind to management's attempts to create a culture where everything is totally fine. Work for another company who has a more stable financial profile.
Worst case of senior management mis-managing funding and expectations of their employees. Upon being laid off with a number of other employees, they offered no severance pay of any kind for any of us. On top of that, those of us with commissions due from Q4 were not paid out. Zero accountability and zero class for its ex-employees.
