Pros

- Can work whenever you like. - No minimum hours. - No need to bid on jobs.

Cons

- At $0.02 a character for standard and $0.05 a character for pro jobs, the pay is too low. - Senior translators have occasionally reviewed my translations incorrectly. - Deadlines can be very tight.

Pros

Very easy way to do translation work. Good mix of texts to translate and pay decent, particularly at Pro level. Support team are efficient and helpful. Can refuse jobs if there are any problems.

Cons

Errors can be identified which are subjective, no means of appealing negative judgments. Availability of texts to translate is very variable. Tests for certain languages are more harshly marked than others (particularly Traditional Chinese vs Simplified - shouldn't be any different). Low pay for some Standard rate jobs.
