Pros
I have been working for the Glen Dimplex Home Appliances Division for a while now and feel I have served enough time to provide my honest review. I've had a genuinely rewarding experience working here so far. From day one, my onboarding process was smooth and welcoming, and I felt like a valued member of the team very quickly. There has been a change in Leadership within the last year which I feel has brought about a more transparent and approachable Leadership Team. We now receive monthly updates through Townhalls and feedback is welcomed. People are encouraged to share ideas and and take ownership of their work. I've also found personally that there is a strong emphasis on work-life balance and flexibility is respected. Overall, I'm happy to be part of the home appliances team.
Cons
No organisation is perfect and there are still areas where the company can evolve. Some internal processes could benefit from more structure and consistency (which is being working on) and there is some room to improve cross-functional alignment. These aren’t major issues, but continuing to address them would help the company operate even more effectively.
