You don’t need to think, just jump through hoops & do as you’re told.
Cons
The VP micromanages all teams and management pander to the VPs random and often times, ridiculous requests. There is no team, no need to think and don’t even think about challenging the VPs wants/requests without being publicly humiliated/shouted at/embarrassed in front of colleagues. What they say goes, regardless of whether you are meant to be the “expert” in your field. Meetings at all times of the day even after work hours which is nonsensical - no cut off for work hours. Constantly shouting about IDE inclusion diversity but this is not reflected within the business - simply extra work being done by employees in order to pander to the VPs wishes.
