Pros
Some flexibility to make technical decisions with independence. Salary in-line with expectations. Not supportive in most team challenges and interactions. Oh, sorry that comment should have been a con but with support like theirs it is best for them to remain detached from day-to-day challenges.
Cons
Inexperienced management provided me poor support when dealing with their customer. VERY old computer provided me an ineffective work environment and technical capability. Ineffective on-site systems support for supplied old laptop. Poor training from management and technical perspectives.
