Corporate micromanages to the point it feels like you're meant to behave like a computer and there's no human interaction. Pay is so low employees can't afford the apartments they're leasing. Residents are angry when things aren't fixed and take it out on the local office when it's corporate pulling the strings and not approving expenses that NEED to be made to keep properties in shape. Corporate is cheap and cuts corners, hiring the cheapest companies they can for pest control, lawn care, roof repair-all contractors are the lowest bidder and the jobs are shoddy, and then corporate pushes the blame to us when things aren't fixed correctly and residents are angry.
