Pros

*Flexibility with schedule (You have to be assertive, don't let the hours others subject themselves to in reviews scare you off. They listen to their employees needs. They believe in healthy work life balance. Especially if you work two jobs. Just be considerate as an employee! Healthy self discipline goes a long way?) *Great Pay and Oppurtunity (My resume is nice and pretty when it has these titles on it. I'm finally achieving my goals.) *Good Vibes and Fun Work Atmosphere. (My coworkers are awesome. Everyone here is a creative from some walk of life. Writers, Illustrators, Models and more. And we have a ton of fun on site! ) *Encouraging betterment every day. (The core values of Harmann Studios is on signs in the front lobby, and it's always uplifting to see before the day gets started.) *Employee Product Discount (As an artist myself, this is a godsend. I can print a lot of my own freelance work here for great prices!) *Mental and physical accomodations for those who require it by law. (They will not discriminate! You have plenty of options here to be a part of the team.)

Cons

*Intimidating CEO but he's not a bad person. (I wouldn't consider this a CON but it is a factor for some people who can't handle it.) (He can be a bit Intimidating yes, "his name is Mr. Harmann after all! He has a lot on his shoulders. However, everyone blows it way out of proportion here an exaggerates the experience. John is a great guy. He's just a traditional working man. He has old style work habits and that's not a bad thing..he will teach you discipline and how to be the best version of you, encourage to work hard and WILL scold you if you mess up. But he will never belittle you, scream at you, or talk down to you like others say he does. Reminds me a lot of my father. Don't slouch in front of him. Be confident and assured that you are a great employee and prove that you are by your work ethic! This is coming from someone who does have anxiety and doesn't like confrontation, John is no where near the person these reviews claim him to be.) *Kids on shoots can be a nightmare, parents worse even. ( But that is expected in photo shoots. You are a photographer, think if it as trying to sell a product, except it's an image of their child. Of course they're gonna be difficult! Soldier up and feel free to banter with employees about it! It takes a lot off after the hard day. ) *Sometimes you have to be up super.early. (like 4 am and be at the studio at 5am) A lot of these jobs require packing up equipment and driving to the site, but everyone drives together! You'll have a lot of fun on the trips talking to your workers though and you'll always be ready to go once you get there! But remember. They are flexible! Some people are early birds, some aren't. ) *Not many "non school" type jobs. (Currently Harmann Studios is working on getting more contracts for photography other than Weddings and Schools, but there will be more events. Do consider we just went through a pandemic. Not many people are buying art either! I would know. I'm an Illustrator and Photographer. It's rough right now. But be excited for the future!! The rumors of John losing contracts are falsified and just bitter former employees who hate working with kids. It's not at all a factor. Encourage your employees to find potential contracts though and this won't be an issue honestly!)

Pros

Just started and not seeing many so far!

Cons

Training has been next to nothing and done by a person who is going nowhere. John Harmann is kind of a jerk to people and can really come unglued. Good thing I need this gig or they would be hard up for help. Sounds like they lost a huge account due to his ego so this company may be heading in the wrong direction.
