The union is here to solve most of the problems, and it's an amazing community making amazing books.

Cons

Union busting management, not enough employees to handle work load. And the internship is unpaid.

Only good thing they do have is a nice office.

Cons

Horrible management, toxic work environment and no work life balance. Head of IT has no real IT experience and makes decisions based off personal feelings. So bad that he had to be put on a PIP plan. Do not apply here even if you are looking for your first job.

Pros

Some nice colleagues, insight into different areas of publishing and may get to work on big brands and authors.

Cons

Poor leadership, happy to ignore senior bad behaviour and lot of changes under the new CEO, not well communicated and dealt with. Cliquey, toxic culture and some issues with bullying. High pressure and expectations but limited support and training. If you are a favoured senior employee this is probably an ok place to work for any new employees, especially junior I would avoid unless your boss seems amazing and you think would protect you
