Pros
The salaries offered are kind of competitive
Cons
Hazelview is by far the worst company I have worked for. The HR department organization is non-existent. The tasks for each job are not clearly defined and everybody turns out doing all the jobs, while everybody and nobody are really accountable. This causes a lot of misunderstandings and a very toxic work environment. The amount of work and meetings is unbearable and exhausting. Many, including me, could not find any time to simply have a break or lunch. The company claims to care about the employees' mental health, but in practice, employees are peer and management pressured to work extra hours, all the time. I saw terrible cases of people burning out from stress, while high management was planning how to get rid of them the cheapest way possible. COVID measures were terrible. People would be forced to go to the premises, even if not necessary by the nature of the job, apparently to "set an example". What kind of example is to expose your employees to unnecessary risks? I saw and perceived a lot of discrimination and almost no diversity. The properties building management is dreadful. I do not recommend either getting a job or renting a property at Hazelview.
