Pros

For the most part, people were lovely.

Cons

After continuous feedback, letters written to the 'higher ups', meetings, reviews etc. They still wouldn't listen to how awful things were for us. The director was less of a leader and more so a dictator. This led to most of the team leaving.

Pros

* Amazing people - you'd be working with some brilliant experts * Market-rate salary (yes, this is a pro nowadays..) * Diverse and multi-cultural team

Cons

* Bullying thrives: multiple people complained and even left after a certain individual joined the company, yet the individual is being protected and encouraged by the company, whiel continuing to harass and mistreat their direct reports. The victims are gaslighted into thinking it's a non-issue, and if they take do it further, they are the ones put under scrutiny for speaking up. Management provides vague and empty promises, to no avail whatsoever * Workload is assigned extremely poorly among the team. Some people are stretched very thinly, having to balance way too much, and they are left in the dirt with no support from the senior people. Again, vague and empty promises is all you'd get at Hearts & Science * No encouragement for growth. There is no structure or incentive for applying oneself in certain teams. Transparency over progression is being obscured towards the more junior people on purpose, most of the team has no idea how they could step up to the next level or get a salary review.

Pros

you can claim good chunks of work and make it your own. strong culture, however, this is only really driven by existing employees.

Cons

No transparency. Leadership is in a bubble, only listening to themselves often leading to clients being under-serviced and/or no business growth. There is little verticle movement here, lost of promises but little else. There are issues in many teams but their failings fall at the feet of the client teams, often with finger-pointing and blame-shifting. they talk a lot about being a cutting edge company however there is little substance to these claims. Growth is only being fueled through handouts from OMG
