Very little or no training After 7 years of major success, I’m feeling time to move on as there is absolutely no career progression opportunity
Advice to Management
Career progression meetings should be offered, stop pigeon holing people, there is no reason a talented person couldn’t move into other roles within the company with support and training.

I have been working at Hologic full-time for less than a year
Pros
Found Hologic to be quick and efficient throughout the process and everyone seems really friendly upon starting here. My application was managed by the internal Talent Acquisition Team and they were fantastic. Culture seems to be great and have been welcomed by everyone. Benefits are some of the best I've seen in a long time, with the addition of onsite parking, canteen and gym.

Working hours are okay free parking
Cons
You will get no training just a piece of paper to read and be expected to magically know everything. You will get rude responses from the manager when you ask for help to the point where you’re uncomfortable to ask. The job is advertised as customer service but it’s really just data entry and transferring a call every now and then. There is not nearly enough work for that many people on the team. You will sit there... for a good four or five hours twiddling your thumbs. You’re expected to gush over the company at all times, bit like a cult. For a medical company that talks the talk the benefits are garbage.

The best products that truly make a difference. Great set of colleagues that make working at Hologic even easier. Opportunity to progress
Cons
The main issue I have come across is that internal promotions or pay increases are normally poor whilst external hire seem to be excessively overpaid.
Advice to Management
The wages have improved over the last year but further work is required to ensure equality across all old and new staff.

Fast moving, high growth, exciting, you learn a lot and there are opportunities for major career development. If you’re clever and hard working they tend to recognise and reward this.
Cons
Sometimes we have to make do with US centric systems and processes. We’re starting to change but it could happen quicker.
