Pros

They pay fairly. Little hassle from above.

Cons

This company is run from Washington DC by incompetent typical washington dc federal government type employees. HR is a total joke and the CEO looks to be on his deathbed. The company way back when was great but times have changed and they are slowly losing market share and contracts.

Pros

I like to be able to work remotely and with a team of professionals that are always at reach and willing and able to support and protect what you do.

Cons

It's a Non-Profit Organization, so it's not that highspeed kind of industry where you can grow within and move on for better positions. So, if this is the end of your career and plan to retire within 5 to 10 years, this job would be awesome because it's the perfect fit to do so and not struggle in the rat race, here the environment is a healthy one and work-life balance it's the best, but if you're early to mid-career and need to grow and get promoted to maintain your family, probably you'll feel frustrated and stuck. But since it's a non-profit there's not much you can do about that aspect and it's still a good place to work.

Pros

Great benefits. Great opportunities to network and engage with other agencies who share like fields. The ability to make a difference in the community. Great flexibility. The comradery between younger and older staff was very pleasant.

Cons

Job requires too much travel at times. Very heavy workload. Not much of a work/life balance. Not much support from upper management when there are concerns. Little to no training for new-hires (I.e... New hire was given a book to read and left on his/her own to figure out the rest). The "Team" concept is all verbal. Hard to establish trust between colleagues. Making promises during the hiring process that couldn't be fulfilled by the company.
