Pros
The atmosphere is fairly laid back. Pressure is periodic and manageable. this occurring whenever delivery time for product occurs, usually related to a large sale. In general most of the employees are really good people and great to work with.
Cons
There is no workable lab. There are insufficient resources and inadequate tools for getting the job done right. Management resists allocating funds to alleviate this problem. There are no software engineers on staff, even though the complexity of the product continues to grow. Product development decisions are based more on sales department whims rather than market and technical assessment.
