Cons

Before I begin here I want to point out a trend I’ve noticed reading through these reviews: After reading all of the reviews on this page it’s obvious every time there is a poor review that review is countered by 2-3 super positive reviews in an attempt to drown it out. That should give you all the red flags you need. This company is for the college graduate looking to get their foot in the door professionally and that’s about it. If you are ambitious and hungry definitely look elsewhere because you will not get opportunity here. To new hires- understand that HR and leadership have known each other since Hueman was part of PPR. They have years to decades of loyalty built up with each other so that’s part of why there is a ceiling and a circle you just aren’t going to be a part of. My issue is lack of professionalism on their part for more reasons than I could list. I can see im not the only one who sees that after reading this page. Also beware- Hueman will let the client run the show, up to and including the recruiters career. They will lay down for the client before growing a backbone and standing up for you if something goes south. It’s happened to multiple people and it’s honestly pathetic on Huemans behalf. There’s a difference between providing “good customer service” and letting the client walk all over you. The salary is an ok entry level salary but it is well below industry standard not just across the US or Florida, but Jacksonville too. Other companies around Jacksonville are aware of Huemans low-salary reputation, trust me. There is an attempt by Hueman to counteract the issue by showing you on paper what They pay for regarding benefits and perks. It’s designed that way to produce content. Along with the pep-rally meetings.

Pros

it's steady pay it's got decent people to work with in pockets when you're onsite, the culture push really makes you feel included at first (not so much remote though) you get decent equipment to work on and tech is staying up to date pretty well

Cons

It's more about #s than the worker anymore. previously, Hueman prioritized seeing the work going into the client and praised the employees based on their work ethic. Thats not the case anymore! Its now all metrics, all the time. So much so that people who would NEVER be put on a pip, are getting put on pips for other people's metric mistakes just to prove a point to Senior leadership that so,thing is being done. That stress is completely unnecessary on good employees. The bonuses have stopped, the trust in us as hueman employees has stopped, and micromanaging is the new norm. Leadership has gone from seeing you as a person (and a valuable one) to just a number. This also means that any loyalty you have to them or your team is not given back to you. don't expect it. They frame any changes they put you through with the core values to back them up and it's insulting. Additionally, the new board is not diverse and DEI is a front to appease the masses. The committees are built from all of the "favorites" and only focus on the offices and not remotes and their training modules are no longer beneficial, just a checked-off box. All in all, it's very corporate now. We are no longer a boutique firm.
