Great environment and good people over all. The staff is usually very good and lively and make you happy to come into work.
Cons
No room for advancement, job starts at pay cap. Compared to other similar surveillance jobs, the pay is on the low end of the scale, and that is before you have to pay to park somewhere in the French Quarter.
Overall my experience was good. Probably not unlike many companies, experiences vary from department to department and your manager will probably determine how good your employment is. Full benefits. Generally not expected to work overtime. Every other Friday off. Free cake social once a month. Good location.
Cons
Very strict schedule, suppose to take lunch from 12-1. Depending on the department and floor it can feel a little isolated with the way the office is set up with the traditional offices. No break room to eat lunch in. You have to pay for parking.
Employees were not valued or credited for their work. Everything was micro-managed. A revolving door of managers caused chaos. Utter lack of leadership. No clear direction.
A throttling, toxic work environment. Aggressive tactics ensuring rules are adhered to. Unwilling to pay for proper tools to get the job done.
