If you're looking for great experience and the ability to move up, I highly suggest you look into this firm. You can gain experience in multiple areas and hard work is rewarded.
Cons
Tax season requires extra hours. But paid Fridays off in the summer help compensate for busy season.

Pros
Some CPA firms are super competitive and pit staff against one another, but not at HT. And we all have lots of clients so having co-workers that are reliable and fun to work with is crucial. The partners are all accessible and understanding that we each have a life to live outside of the office. Pay is not very high, but I feel it is commensurate with the work performed. We work hard during busy season but I don't completely live at the office during that time.
Cons
The technology used for engagements is cumbersome and frustrating.
