Pros

The team I worked with was genuinely lovely — both colleagues and line managers were supportive, approachable, and very knowledgeable. Having the flexibility to work from home was also a huge plus.

Cons

From my perspective in Payroll, working closely with senior leadership could be quite challenging. I found the management style to be highly involved, which at times felt more like micromanagement than support. Feedback often came across as critical rather than constructive, which affected my confidence and made it harder to perform effectively. There was also a noticeable focus on internal visibility and engagement. For me, the expectation to regularly interact with leadership’s posts on the internal platform felt forced and performative. It contributed to a culture that I personally found emotionally draining.
