1. Work-life balance is horrible to say the least. I worked for 12 hours a day straight for 2-3 months with practically having just Sunday as a leave. Normal working hours were at least 50 hours a week.
2. A research manager has two reporting managers at Inclusion Economics, one in US, and other in India. These two folks just push the manager from both sides without talking to each other, leading to work related frustration. Ironically, you may find academicians working for labor issues in the same organisation.
3. As a manager, you barely hold any control either on your team or on work. The top management at Inclusion Economics is highly incompetent. Thus, they keep pushing the ball towards the manager, and holds the manager of projects accountable instead.
4. Hypocrisy runs very deep in Inclusion Economics India Centre. While academicians work for "rights" of the poor, while their field-staff doesn't get adequate social security. Their contracts are of 89 days, just to get a comfortable escape from the proper responsibility of an employer
