Pros

Nice clients and nice colleagues

Cons

Everyone reading this: please believe the bad reviews. There is a reason so many reviews have only 1 star: this is a horrible place to work, if you enter this company, you will suffer. The reviews that have 5 stars are written by the management and employees that have been forced to do so by the management. The funny thing is that there are way more people that have had a bad experience here than there are who like to work here. The turnover of employees is incredibily high, no one in their right mind stays here longer than a year. So this review game will never be won by INTK. But good to see they are still trying:'). INTK: It's Not That Kind. Indeed. This company is not kind towards its employees and interns, it is actually cruel and manipulative and treats them like durt. It's also not kind towards its clients: they trick good organizations into working with them, promising impossible things and selling air. This company runs on low cost employees and interns in combination with low cost service fees. The result? The need to get as many organizations in the cultural field saying yes to this farce of a company. Putting extreme pressure on both employees and interns. So be good to yourself and stay as far away from this company as possible. You are worth so much more than this. No one should go through what people are going through in this company.

Pros

You will learn to become an entrepreneur in a hard, demanding atmosphere with little money.

Cons

Weird communication which came across as manipulation and brainwashing. In case you are looking for a healthy and happy work environment, then stay away from this one. People are swamped with work and not paid enough for what they do. A lot of interns are being hired and there is always a search going on for new employees because lots of people leave this company.

Pros

* Working for clients in the cultural and non-profit field, nice way to work directly with theaters, museums, cinemas, castles, etc. * Sweet colleagues, with whom you quickly bond. Read below why people quickly bond.

Cons

* Too many clients and too little colleagues to handle the work. This makes people overworked. * Bad quality of work, because you do not have the time and because its about the quantity (how many clients you manage). * No training for employees. For online marketeers you have to get the certifications in your own time before getting hired and that's it. * There is little in-house knowledge of everything, no one is a specialist. On the other hand, there is a culture of fear, a boss who is in control, observes everything and is narcistic. This company feels like a social experiment, with all the colleagues in the Panopticon and the management watching every step. * No trust in employees: when a client stops you must have done something completely wrong, other factors (for example a client who needs a different approach or a different product) are not of interest to the company. * Blaming other factors is a turn off for the management (maximum responsibility). They do not see that they are constantly blaming colleagues and interns. No applicants? Blame your employees. In the meantime you get messages from applicants why they did not have received a message yet. * You never know where you stand, for personal evaluation meetings you have to send your preparation beforehand, and then you talk during the meeting about your own preparation. * Meetings can be threatening and offensive because it is always 2 from the management against 1, the employee. And the 2 from the management always do share the same view, which is in the interest of the company. * Contracts are vague and short and not aligned with the Dutch law. * Management is constantly asking for constructive feedback; in any way you will get a defensive answer. * Saw many colleagues leaving within a year, colleagues who dropped out (stressed out or burn out), people who suddenly left without saying goodbye or people who just found a better job at a better environment. If you want a fair start in your career, I certainly wouldn't start here. There is no CAO to protect you. But keep in mind Dutch Law is.
