When the Chief of Mission left Ireland, the Officer in Charge has been bullying and aggressive with her direct reports and everyone in the office without any capacity of managing. The Resource Management Officer was behaving like the Officer in Charge and absolutely not capable of providing any HR to staff. She and her staff never replied to emails and they disappeared in case of requests of work certificates, pay slips, requests for revenue and contracts details.

Salary ranges and international mobility, opportunities to collobrate with few colleagues who genuinely remain passionate about the work

Cons

Senior leadership is inundated with old white males with few advancement opportunties for Persons of color/citizens of global south countries. Most colleagues and managers are more concerned about political lobbying and claiming TA/DAs and stipends over genuinely serving our beneficaries and mobile populations HR, IT, Finance and Procurement are super inefficient and seldom fulfill their roles as support functions to staff - millions of donor's funds wasted and accountability is seldom there I have worked with the org for over 10 years in country, RO and HQ
