RUN AWAY

Pros

There are no "Pro's" working at this company

Cons

As a current employee of ISPE all I can say is RUN. RUN, as far away as you possibly can from an association that is poorly run (constant turnover), the worst culture I have ever experienced in my career, poor management (starting from the top down) and overall miserable place to work. I am applying for any and all jobs I can. The association is now run by ANOTHER CEO. However, everyone at the association knows who the problem is, but the board, present CEO, previous CEO & CFO/COO are too scared to grow a pair and FIRE the culprit of all of the association’s problems. This person is a narcissist, liar, fraud, bully, backstabber, micromanager, under performer (over promises and under delivers) and an overall terrible person who is revengeful against employees. Even when employees bring issues to upper management's attention, nothing is done. This person bully’s everyone and anyone to get their way, and the entire association is suffering from constant turnover. They might offer a huge salary when you come onboard, but it is NOT worth it for the amount of stress, and problems that occur. It is such a poorly run place, they continue to churn through staff because of burnout and overall terrible work environment. If there was an award for “Terrible Places to Work", ISPE would be #1 in the DMV.

Pros

Benefits, work from home opportunity, company shuts down between Christmas and New Years

Cons

More and more staff are leaving (two this week)! If you’re of a certain minority group, you will have it made. You’ll get away with treating your staff like crap. Or if you’re at the opposite end, bottom of the chain, you’ll get away with not doing your job, making mistakes and getting away with it. While people that work hard every day, some that have been there quite a few years, will get appreciated for their hard work by getting fired or being demoted. Some just end up quitting. It’s not about what’s good for the members anymore. They don’t care about them. Membership counts (including revenue from other product streams) will more than likely decrease due to a certain payment policy that has been implemented. Lack of respect, especially from upper management. Rules don’t apply to everyone across the board. A lot of gossip!

Pros

Pros are nonexistent at this time.

Cons

Please do not be swayed by the couple of positive reviews sprinkled in here—they are written by management. This place is a pit of despair full of toxic people. The workload is absolutely soul crushing. Vacation allowances are generous, but you’ll never be able to use any of it!!! Welcome to hell on earth.
